July 2005

It's all looking very exciting in the 'Dig for Victory' garden: the peas pods are ready for picking, the sunflowers are growing spectacularly, the runner beans are shooting up the poles, and flowers are appearing on the potatoes, tomatoes and beans. To keep the garden looking lush after such a hot spell has taken many hours of watering, but it's been worth the effort!
