Museum of Watford and Cathartic are collaborating to deliver SEND workshops during the school holidays.

 

The first sessions will take place on 30 July, 13 August and 27 August 2026.

These fun and accessible sessions will use art and creativity to discover local heritage, celebrate our community, and create artwork inspired by Watford’s past and present. The workshops are free to attend but require prior booking.

Children must attend with a parent or carer.

Event Details:

• Morning Session: Ages 5–11

• Afternoon Session: Ages 12–19

• Thursday 30 July, Thursday 13 August, Thursday 27 August 2026. 

• Time TBC

• Cathartic’s Workshop: Oak Yard, Rear of 131-133 Queens Road, Watford, WD17 2QP

 

The venue is fully accessible and includes:
• Accessible toilets
• Hoist
• Changing bed

 

Who can attend?

These workshops are designed for children and young people with SEND aged 5+.

Spaces for the workshops are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
