Watford Museum has a photographic collection of over 10,000 images and we’re bringing them online to share them for the first time.

We have put together a selection of albums from our huge library of photos for you to enjoy and, if you grew up in Watford, reminisce and remember Watford over the years.

While we transition to the new museum at Town Hall, the photograph collection will be unavailable to view in person until we relaunch in Autumn 2025. During this period we are also pausing all research enquiries so our staff and volunteers can focus on preparing the collection to relocate.
