A celebration of the history of Watford Football Club
The heritage of Watford Football Club is brought to life at the museum. As well as two massive "Goal-den Years" exhibitions in 2002 and 2003, which celebrated the achievements of Graham Taylor's teams, the museum has a permanent collection of Watford memorabilia.
The items on display date range from a player's card from the 1890s and photographs from the early twentieth century, right through to the club's two famous trips to Wembley in 1984 and 1999. Also on show are a rare print of a painting by Terry Challis, which was presented to Elton John in 1976, and an Elton John stage costume!
The museum is dedicated to expanding its collection to preserve the Hornets' heritage in partnership with the club and its supporters. If you can help to build the collection of memorabilia, images and programmes at the museum by contributing in any way, please mail: firstname.lastname@example.org or tel: 01923 232297.
