Museum Advisory Panel

Come, join us! We’re launching a Museum Advisory Panel (MAP) for the new Museum of Watford that will re-open in Watford Town Hall. We want to ensure that different voices of the Watford community are heard and embedded at the heart of everything we do. So far, we have recruited our Co-Chairs and now we’re looking for volunteer members who care about community engagement, arts and heritage, and who want to help shape a Museum that truly reflects the people it serves.

As a valued member of the MAP, you’ll meet quarterly (hybrid options available) and provide ideas and advice across all areas of the Museum’s work and operations, meaningfully contributing to a space and community that is inclusive, relevant, welcoming, accountable and responsive to the people of Watford. We ask for a commitment of two years, initially, and you will be well supported by the Co-Chairs and Museum team along the way.
