"Museum on Tour" is a series of events which kicked off in October 2023. They are breathing new life into the past, creating an immersive experience that connects everyone with Watford's vibrant historical roots.
These experiences are brought to you, for free, by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, with thanks to National Lottery Players.




Toddler Group Session

Join us for a special toddler session delivered in partnership with West Watford Community Association and Museum of Watford on Tour.
This fun, hands‑on experience is perfect for little ones and their accompanying adults.

What to expect
Designed especially for parents and toddlers, this interactive session invites families to explore history through movement, storytelling and real museum objects. It’s a great way to introduce young children to history in a playful, accessible way.
The session is led by the Museum of Watford team, who bring history to life with engaging activities tailored for early years.

• Who can attend: Kids of all ages are welcome, but please remember that children must be supervised at all times to ensure their safety.
• Booking: No advance booking or resources required, though expect potential short wait times during peak hours. Our museum staff will assist you during this self-guided event.
