Heritage Open Days returns to Watford in September. 

Find out about the history of some of Watford's oldest and best loved buildings. 
 

This year St Mary's Church is taking part, along with The Pumphouse Theatre & Arts Centre, St John's Church on Sutton Road and the Fire Museum on the Lower High Street.
 

The Friends of the Museum of Watford are also hosting a talk on the Canadian Khaki University which used to be on the Leavesden hospital site. 

All these events are completely free and made possible by wonderful volunteers at each site.
